la semaine derniere...

been derelict once again because i've been busy feeling the following adjectives/adverbs:

surprised

engaged (not as in marriage, you crazy chump)

warm

deliriously happy

new!

ostentatious

challenged

appreciated

welcome

chuffed

to compliment this drastic upswing in my day-to-day mood, i chopped all my hair off. it is now ridiculously boy-short and i am the proud owner of relatively straight, thick, punk rock bangs. at times i look vaguely reminiscent of a museum curator/bebe neuwirth. at other times (like right now), i look about 12 years old, but sassy... so i like it. pictures soon, bitches.

had an excellent friday night that involved a few of my favorite people. drinking and dancing and giggling all night. great fun! saturday was also kickass due to supersystem and running into so many awesome ladies whom i haven't seen in many, many moons!

the mild weather has brought my beloved green velvet blazer out of solitary confinement in my closet. praise the lord. i love this jacket and its accompanying, practically permanently affixed pin.

cataract camp tonight. awww yeah - i love those boys.

delicious artichoke last night and even more delicious records. ben is a superb dj:
